GAVALI DEV WATERFALL

Gavali Dev Waterfall is also called as Ghansoli Waterfall.
It is located in eastern boundary of Ghansoli town.
If you want to enjoy the nearest big waterfall, then Gavali Dev Waterfall is the best option.

HOW TO REACH :
Nearest Railway Station is Ghansoli.
From Ghansoli you can take auto-Rickshaw to reach to waterfall base.
It is close to Millenium Business Park (MHAPE).

Gavali Dev Waterfall occurs only in Rainy Season, so Monsoon is the only time to explore.
During winter and summer, you can explore the surrounding forest area.
There is small Gavali Dev Temple at the top.
Biggest waterfall originates just below the temple.

Forest Department have applied banners, warning about wild animals found in the forest.
Suggested to visit this place in groups.
There is one small well just after the Temple.

As it is Bird Sanctuary, you can also find many bird species here.
Many professional photographer give a visit to this place for nature photography.

You may find more crowd during weekends, so please avoid visiting here in holidays.

You can find eatery items like VadaPav at the base.
Please do carry water while trekking.

For begineers, this is the best option as it requires short trekking.
Please do not throw garbage or plastics and spoil this beautiful place.
